For homes with Rental Assistance, rent is based on your household’s adjusted income and is set in accordance with program guidelines (generally 30% of adjusted monthly income). A utility allowance is included in the calculation to help offset utility costs; however, residents are responsible for paying utilities directly.
Some homes offer a fixed (Basic) rent that does not vary by income. Housing vouchers are accepted at participating properties.
Utilities are not included in rent. Residents pay utility bills directly to the provider.
For homes with rental assistance, a utility allowance is applied to your rent calculation to help offset these costs, which lowers your monthly rent.
Eligible applicants must be 62 years or older or disabled/handicapped in order to qualify for senior housing.
All properties offer a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments, with the exception of 16 three-bedroom units located in Farmingdale.
Pets under 30 pounds that have been neutered and are current in their well-care vaccinations are welcome at our senior properties with a $200 pet deposit.
A typical one-bedroom unit is approximately 560 square feet, while the average two-bedroom is around 820 square feet. You can find pictures of our apartments here: https://www.facebook.com/cbmattson/photos_albums
All apartments are smoke-free. Smoking is not permitted inside any unit or common areas and is prohibited within 25 feet of any building.
Applications are processed in the order they are received. Because availability depends on current residents moving out, it can be difficult to estimate when a home will become available.
In some cases, applicants on the list may no longer need housing, which can affect wait times. Wait list lengths also vary by location, and some properties may have shorter wait times than others.
For more information or to check on your status, please contact our office.
The USDA/RD programs require that advertising be on-going in order to create a waiting list.
